Our visit to Finland

Nummi-Pusula School


Monday 08.05

In the morning we arrived at Nummi-Pusula School. We had a walk around it and we met some of the teachers and students. The school is beautiful. Then we had lunch. Later the Finnish students danced to us. It was lovley. We were also treated to some cake and coffee and juice. In the evening we had a social party. There was some live music and then we went to sleep.

Tuesday 09.05

We had a day trip to Helsinki. We visited Temppeliaukio church, Ateneum Art Museum, Market Square, Senate Square and Suomenlinna. Then we had some free time. Next we went to Aleksi´s house. We had a good time.

Wendesday 10.05

Students of each participating country showed the presentations of their schools and countries they had prepared before coming to Finland. Then we had a lesson during which we taught and learned some bits of our languages. Next, we had a tour round Nummi-Pusula and we visited Nummi Church, a farm house and a Dairy Museum. After that, we had some outdoor activities including sauna, swimming and canoeing in Iloittu.

Thursday 11.05

We went Turku. We visited an art museum called Aboa Vetus and we had lunch in the boat restaurant. Then we had free time and we went shopping. After returning to Nummi we went to Aino´s place.

Friday 12.05

Today is Friday. We are still working on our project and later we are going to have a farewell party.
